Do I need to supply my own AI credentials?
Yes. OpenClaw OVH Hosting manages the deployment while you provide your preferred AI service keys. OpenClaw supports Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter, and self-hosted alternatives like Ollama and llama.cpp for machines with GPU resources. You will also need platform-specific tokens for each messaging service you connect.
How does the managed hosting process work?
You provision a server through OVHcloud or another supported provider and grant us deployment access. We install, configure, and maintain your OpenClaw instance end-to-end. Every byte of your data stays exclusively on your own infrastructure.
What server specifications are recommended?
A minimum of 2 vCPU cores, 2 GB RAM, and 20 GB storage is recommended. Running local language models directly on your server requires GPU hardware. We provide step-by-step provisioning guides for every supported hosting platform.
What exactly is an OpenClaw agent?
An agent is a single OpenClaw profile within your deployment. Each agent maintains its own workspace, identity, and connections and can manage files, execute shell commands, control browsers, and communicate across multiple messaging platforms simultaneously. A single server can host multiple agents.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Absolutely. Plan changes take effect immediately. Billing adjusts on a prorated basis so you only pay for what you use during each billing cycle.
Are there any long-term commitments?
None. You can cancel your subscription at any point and continue using the service through the end of your current billing period. No early termination fees apply.
